Not nearly enough points imho - plan to load up on Alabama.

I fully expect Bama to skulldrag Meechigan up and down the field all night long and set the tone for another season of SEC domination.

I think Bama will win like a 21-10 kind of game. Looks about right to me.

I'm imagining something more like 34-3. Maybe Michigan gets 10.

I'd take Michigan with that spread. Bama loses a lot on defense and until they all gel together I don't know if they can stop Denard that well.

I think Bama will win, but I'm saying it's a 3-7 point game.

Then again, I don't gamble and I'd do a lot more research if I was actually putting money on it.

I mean game 1 after losing so many big time players I think is as vulerable as you'll get Bama. Michigan doesn't have the horses to actually win but I think they make it interesting for awhile then bama pulls away in the 3rd then sits on it in the 4th

I'm getting it at -6.5 in a teaser.

Mainly using the teaser for other teams, Bama is just in there to add a team to increase the winnings.

My feeling as well. Too many new starters on D for me to see us shutting down Robinson.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch.

No pun intended Hunter.

That is what it hinges on and I don't disagree with your skepticism. I do not believe he can beat Bama with his arm but it will be interesting to see if they can seal the edge and contain him. We have some excellent talent at LB but I need to see this group live before I start predicting "mudhole" wins

It's not like we're replacing Upshaw, Hightower, and Barron with scrubs who haven't seen any playing time. The guys who are stepping up in their places have talent as well as a lot of experience. This isn't like 2010 where the players coming back on defense hadn't played very many meaningful snaps. Almost every single one of the players returning on the '12 defense played a lot of snaps last year, despite several of them not having been listed as starters.

Yes and gut feeling is that they will mesh well as a group. Just need to see it. If we were playing a more traditional QB type I would be less cynical. DR just present a little different situation for the opening game. I do not think he can carry the ball effectively for 4 quarters against Bama defense but I can see a scenario where he gives them some problems.

I think Saban will be ultra-conservative in this game. Bama wins and dominates the 2nd half, but I doubt they win big. Look at Penn State game last year and Virginia Tech game in 2009. Those were not run-away wins by Bama.

Just read up on Michigan a little bit.

They do return their weapons on offense, but I have huge doubts about their defense's ability to stop Bama's O.

Last year they had big trouble stopping ND and Ohio St.

Bama has an awesome OL even by SEC standards. Lacy is real good and the QB has shown he can hurt you.

41-17 Bama in a game similar to LSU-Oregon a year ago.
