by slanting Houston I guess you think that means A&M

I guess

but Houston would probably be on that list with or without A&M....maybe not as high but still on the list

9. New York, NY

I guess Rutgers should be added then as well

Way to leave out the analysis:

quote:

Analysis: Birmingham, the home of the SEC offices, is truly the home of the SEC website on the internet. In comparison to cities with much larger populations (Atlanta, Houston), more people visited the league portal from the Magic City than anywhere else. The rest of the top 10 reads like a glossary of SEC school cities, except for the surprising ninth place finisher, New York. Also worth mentioning is Jackson, MS, who despite a population of only 175,000 still found their way to the 10th spot. Very impressive support.

Well that settles it. Columbia is a better sports market than NY, NY.

Because Texas isn't even an "SEC State," yet there Houston sits at #3.

If someone from the SEC Office asked you what the #3 most-interested city was in online SEC info, few here would have picked Houston.

Considering the large number of Aggies and Tigers in H-Town, it's a city to keep your eye on for future SEC bowl tie-ins, SEC athletic events, etc.
