John L Smith - 9 wins wont be good enough
Joker Phillips - Kentucky is gonna be the worst team in SEC history

I think Dooley wins 8 games and unfortunately is given another year. Also I think Muschamp wins around 8 games and will be given one more year.

I don't think there was/is any intention of rehiring John L. Smith after his contract is up - guess you can call it 'firing' if you want to, but it's not quite the same.

Smith was never gonna happen
Joker will probably be gone, but ky needs to just lighten up and accept their role.
Dooley is iffy.
Muschamp has more than a year unless he royally fricks up.

For someone that coaches the worst team in SEC he sure did a job on Tennessee.

BTW, Dooley is worse than Croom and Orgeron IMO.

As others have noted, John L's contract is for just this season. He may not be re-hired, or his contract could be extended, but he won't be "fired" unless Arkansas loses to a cupcake and Long decides to oust Smith mid-season and promote an assistant.

What is our role?

If we had a decent coach, say Mike Leach, we could be successful. Any team can be good given the right cimcumstances.

It honestly wasn't a flame I just think Kentucky will be awful this year. And for what its worth I think Dooley is terrible as well.

A team that stays about 50-50 on average with highs and lows. It's better to keep a coach longer than a few years! when the administration and powerful alumni accept this it will lead to better fan support. Given if the coach is not liked outside of wining percentage you need to find one that is well liked.

put up or shut up time for Dooley, John L, and Joker.

if we lose to NC State and Florida, I'm gonna call a couple of hard, pipe-hittin' ****** and go work on Dooley's home with a pair of pliers and a blow torch.

A large majority of our fan base wants Mike Leach, and he would come to Lexington if offered.

We for used to going to bowl games under Pawpaw Brooks. Not making a bowl game isn't acceptable.
