These are just for folks to learn some names and where these guys came from and how they were rated as recruits. I'm making no inference about ability or coaching. Coaching, I understand, is not an issue. Pinks is apparently one of the best in the nation at developing "diamonds".
Draw your own inferences. I intend none.
The first two are the projected starters.
Matt Hoch -SO - 6'5", 300 lbs Arky three star - their only 300 lb DT. GWH#1 - Rated third highest player in Iowa in his class.
Sheldon Richardson - JR - 6'4", 295 lb - 6.1 five star - The first player above three stars in my looksee so far - from MO
Lucas Vincent - Arky three star from *gasp* KS
Marvin Foster - 5.4 two star from TX - unrated in the state - don't know why
David Bulter - Rivals didn't have anything about him save for the fact he's from MO
Jimmy Burge - 5.4 two star from TX - unrated in the state - don't know why
Steven Mack - Rivals didn't have anythign about him save for the fact he's from Chicago, IL
This is the place where I think MO starts to have issues with depth as the wear and tear begins. Some may disagree and that's fine. It's just my opinion.
Of note:
only 1 300 pounder
only 1 senior
Richardson looks the part of a goon. Goons are good.
Meet Jimmy Burge.

Missouri fans seem angry that the lack of talent is being highlighted.

He is a beast, should be our best defensive player if he stays healthy. That's Burge in the background btw.

Big Sheldon should beast this year. Most expected Vincent to start alongside him but Hoch has been a revelation this offseason after putting on 40 pounds and getting up to 300 (initially came to Mizzou as a tight end). Foster is the clear #4 in this group.
Our starters will be fine but DT depth is where we may face the biggest hurdle in switching to the SEC. A true freshman may even see the field at times. We are pretty deep at DE though and will slot in an extra DE inside on passing downs to get after the QB.
It will be fun to see how the season unfolds. We have historically been very good at stopping the run, and ironically have struggled more with the high-octane, 5 wide, 50+ pass attempt offenses.

You are very welcome. I doubt anyone knew any of them except for Richardson (I didn't actually) prior to this exercise.
Someone basically did the OL for me today. I don't know whether to be or about that.

Who seems angry?
And we'll be just fine.
