I think it's safe to say that noone is on his level in coaching up players or hauling in recruits.

Recruiter/talent evaluator. He's a great coach, but I think he is a bit too conservative to be the type who does more with less consistently.

Coach.

Anybody (well, not anybody) can bring in top talent. I mean, every single year some school signs the #1 class in the country and it's not always alabama. But he is almost on another level when it comes to getting the absolute very best out of the guys he has.

recruiter

not really close.

He's very fundamental as a coach and not that creative, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Developing talent is his biggest strength.

Yeah, because he's always turning these scrubs he recruits into absolute beasts.

He's never had a 5-star bust at Alabama.

Javier Arenas (2*)
Rashaad Johnson (Walk-On)
Will Lowery (Walk-On)

He didn't recruit Javier or Rashaad, but he did, in fact, turn them into beasts. There are others, too.

Javier was already pretty beastly. Not uncommon for a guy to have a huge senior year.

Who is Will Lowery?
