Stallings 91- 94

Saban 08- present

In 91 BAMA was blown out by UF early in the season, but went undefeated going forward. Finished 11-1.

92 Fielded the best defense in modern college football beat Miami for an undefeated, untied, Sugarbowl National Championship. 12-0

93 was a down year and the Antonio langham BS puts a tarnished on the run.
94 undefeated regular season and a 1 pt loss to UF in the SECCG. Impressive run by Stallings.

Saban has had a more impressive first 5 years compared to Bear too.

94 was equally impressive as 2011. Just didn't get a do over on losing to a lesser team. I worked concessions @ legion field that year, best team with no hardware.

Wrong. The 2011 Bama defense was better. #1 in the nation in 8 different categories. I always thought the Bama 1992 defense would never be challenged, but last year's unit, not only challenged it, but beat it.

The Saban run from 2008 is better too.

94 Bama didn't even win the SEC after going 8-0.

That's why when people say Bama will fall after Saban sound silly. Stalling's run was just as good. Both had one undefeated season, both went 8-0 twice, 94 just didn't get a do over like 2011 did.

This. Then you look at how possibly every starter (Even Jerrell Harris, he has been IMPRESSIVE at camp according to reports) on that D will play in the NFL.

Sabans run has more hardware, but Stallings run will be more special to me. Maybe I just miss playing games in Bham. David palmer was my favorite player hands down.

Curry and Copeland were nasty, and Antonio langham had 19 career picks. I just like Gene more than Saban. Saban has handled boosters and NCAA a lit better though.
