There's really not that much of a talent disparity between Mizzou and Georgia.

Check the O and D lines.

So Boise outmatched Jawja? Didn't know that was possible...

I don't deny that this is where the talent disparity is the most evident, but it still isn't as much as some here think it is. Again, if more talented players are such a big deal, why did Appalachian State beat Michigan? Why did Boise beat Georgia? Why did Arkansas beat Texas A&M? All of these teams beat "more talented" teams than themselves. There is more to a football game than talent

Yes he will be. He has started throwing a Football about two weeks ago.

Article I read last weekend said he's throwing with no pain and they think he'll be ready when official practices start in a couple of weeks. They expect him to be 100%. And, with the location of the tear, the surgeon said it's a low likelihood of reinjury - he'd have to hit the exact same spot, the exact same way. They feel good about his recovery.

Henry Josey on the other hand, probable red shirt and they hope he's available in 2013.

Yes. We were out matched and out schemed. Their d-line ran circles around our 4 guards and a center. We didn't have tackles quick enough to fan out and meet their ends before they got a full head of steam.

I'm just curious as to what matchup advantages Missouri thinks they have. Simply because I don't know much about Missouri except for the fact that they beat Oklahoma every year it seems...

There are rumors floating around that CB/S Sanders Commings may be the only player suspended for the game against mizzou in week 2.

Oh God I wish more Arkansas fans would click on this thread.

Anyway, yes, Boise outmatched us. We had little experience on defense and they had a fourth or fifth year starter pretty much across the board. Also had some players drafted.

We have the more experienced defense and I just really don't see Mizzou scoring all these points they claim they can.

UM/Lloyd Carr were all in a clusterfrick. He should have retired, but came back to coach Long, that RB, and Henne.

Peterson is running that team like a sewing machine.

Yeah, we all know that you were outmatched because you fricking lost! However, going into that game y'all didn't think Georgia was outmatched by Boise. You all thought that Jawja was going to rip the "overrated" Boise a new a-hole.

So what makes you think that Mizzou is outmatched by Georgia? My point is that you don't have a fricking clue until that game concludes.

Then, (my prediction follows) after that game has ended and you realize that Jawja just got beat by lowly Mizzou, I assume you'll come on here and say that Mizzou simply outmatched Jawja (which would be fricking obvious anyhow if Mizzou wins).

I'm mean...I'm right, right?

Link?

This is not typical Richt. For the most part he's pretty strict about suspending players no matter what the game. We had players suspended for Boise and USCe last year.

Ya I liked that one as well.

As to the uga game it could really go any possible way in my mind, but I will be VERY SURPRISED If we get our doors blown off in our first SEC home game

Really? I didn't mention anything about us matching up with you at all, nor did I make a prediction.

I asked for insight as to what you bring to the table because I'm not familiar with your team and you proceeded to flame away like a child.

Don't be so fricking defensive.

Jarvis Jones is going to have a field day in Mizzou's backfield. That's the game right there.

"Case of the yips" and "inexperience in the conference" are descriptions that come to mind. Our defense is full of seniors. they've never played anything but an SEC schedule in 3-4 years of being here. They've played on the road in MUCH worse environments. And, this isn't the first game of the season. They get to play full speed the week before against a cupcake.

You may not get the doors blown off (last time we did that on the road was LSU in 08) but don't be surprised if it's a 10-14 point loss

I think we are motivated because everyone keeps talking about "Richt can't get it done". I think UGA players are tired of hearing that and many people won't score on our D.

I think our guys are just hungry to actually DO something worth a damn. They've gotten 10 wins, been to ATL for the SECCG, but still they've fallen short in places. Nothing to hold them back but themselves

I'm hyped for this team. Who do you think covers DGB? Mitchell or Swann? Although it probably won't matter because Motel 6 and Jarvis are gonna put Franklin on his arse
