Lol. You can be "out to prove a point" all day long, but you have to actually have talent to win games in this conference.

According to this article Rambo is getting 2 games at minimum.

They range in severity from Georgia's rigid structure — first positive test, two-game suspension; second, four games; third, dismissal — to the lenient one at Ole Miss, where the first two positive tests call for no penalties.

Because UGA has confirmed that it was actually his second failed drug test and everything.

You will soon learn that here in the SEC, the home to the last 6 BCS championships, we DGAF about what is published as a rule if it needs to be bent to win a game.

It says first failed test is two games.

Rumors are that McGarity changed the drug policy a little while ago and has yet to take effect. Probably made it less strict and more on par with the rest of the conference because as good and noble as it may be, it's detrimental to success.

The crowd will be amped, the coach is ready to make a good first impression, and the players are tired of hearing the bullshite the media is spewing about not being able to compete. Mizzou will beat Georgia.

Funny how all the Georgia fans were doom and gloom and now they think they're going to roll the conference.

No way Richt is going to go into a new SEC members home turf on their first SEC game and risk losing to a team UGA should beat because he sat some idiots down.

Not surprised one bit. Remember he learned it all from Bobby Bowden at Free Shoes U.

Clearly you haven't kept up with Richt's approach to suspensions in big games the past, oh, 400 days (let alone the past 10 years).

Boise State saw Rambo suspended, we always have 1 or 2 guys suspended against Carolina

That has nothing to do with matchups. We were super pumped against Bama in '08 and everyone knows how that one went. If you don't matchup you don't win.

We will see what happens. I am only linking the article that specifically said the rule on record.

Meh. Crowd will be more amped, but it's still not near as intimidating as half the stadiums in the SEC. And you mention nothing about talent, which you actually have to have to win.

I always said we were going beat Mizzou and I never said anything about winning the SEC

We understand that mizzou really wants to beat uga, just not sure you have any winning matchup on the field. We shall see though

Yep. A lot of questions on how the adjustment by the coaching staff has gone for Mizzou during the spring and summer as well as whether they will rise to the challenge in the SEC, will be answered that night.

ALl I know is its exciting as a Mizzou fan.

Any particular matchups you see in your favor?

Look: For all you Missouri fans who generally claim "we aren't here for flaming, we just want to talk football", no one has yet answered this fan asking a legitimate football question.

Is it because you don't have any favorable matchups? That you resort to bullshite like "fans will be excited", "first SEC game", "silence the haters" blah blah blah just shows how poor of football fans you actually are.

The crowd will do it's part. And why does everyone keep talking about talent? There's really not that much of a talent disparity between Mizzou and Georgia. Both teams are full of top tier D1 athletes. And it takes more than talent to win games anyways. (I.e. Texas the last couple of years)

The Big 12 is the second best football conference in the country and we did ok there, so I think we'll be just fine. But I realize trolls gonna troll.

Yes he will be. He has started throwing a Football about two weeks ago.
