Chik fil a Kick off (already bought tix)
Miss State
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt

Bama (Already planning to attend)

I know the road games are not very appealing but I am trying to hit all SEC venues and have never been to either of the three.

You should go to Vandy.

Of those three, Ole Miss probably has the best game day atmosphere. However, Vandy is in Nashville and that city is a ton of fun.

Also, remember that if you really want to make a trip to all of the SEC venues then you should take the opportunity to go to Vandy while you can. Auburn plays Ole Miss and Miss State away games every other year. B/c of divisions, we only play Vandy in Nashville like once every twleve years (or some such crap).

This. Also, if memory serves me, AU didn't have a real good time the last time they were there.

Vandy for certain. If you want to see Auburn play, this may be the last time for a good long time.

Also, go up on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and see Nashvegas. Certainly hit up the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum and take the self guided tour of the Ryman.

Depending on the time of the game get tickets for either the Friday night or Saturday night Grand Ole Opry (Friday ticket selection is typically better). When we went up in 2008, the Internation Bluegrass Awards and Festival had just wrapped up and so a lot of the award winners were in town and played on Friday night. I bought Opry tickets 2 weeks before (had to wait on kickoff time to be announced) and ended up with seats in the first 4 or five rows from center stage.

While down at the Ryman go have a drink and check out the live music at Tootsie's. back in the day when the Opry was at the Ryman, performers would slip out the back door, go into Tootsie's for a drink and then come back before they had to play.

On the way back to Atlanta we stopped in Murfreesboro and visted Stones River battlefield if you are into history. Also, the trip from nashville to Lynchburg isn't bad if you want to check out Jack Daniels and see them make Old No. 7

I would go to Vandy if I were you.

Like other posters have said you play in Starkville and Oxford every other year and you are going to lose to us this year so that trip would be no fun. Nashville is a fun place and that game should be pretty good.

If you like casinos, go to Ole Miss and hit Tunica.

Ugh, slim pickens between those 3.

If you must though, I would say Oxford first, followed by Nashville, then Starkville in a resounding last place.

Oxford is a pretty campus and the Grove is nice to experience once, but it's overrated. I've been twice and had a good time, but it's not the pinnacle of college football like some people make it sound.

I only suggest Vandy because of Nashville. It's a cool town and you can definitely have fun there. The stadium is awful, the fans suck, the team usually sucks. It does NOT feel like an SEC game, more like a big high school. No atmosphere or ambiance really.

Starkville is just bad. It might have the "best" stadium of those 3 choices, but starkville is garbage.
