There has been much debate over the new charging of Victory Village North and East for tailgating especially on Hogville, ha. Lots arguing and calls flooding into the UofA regarding spots, fights, tent questions etc.

This year you'll pay for your spot in these areas or a tent will be provided for you. Click on the link below for the entire brochure. I know a lot of you guys party in "The Pit" myself included or at the Gardens south of the stadium. What do you think the area now being charged?

I'm indifferent at the moment. Both of those areas you have amazing views inside of the stadium and Boston Mountains for the backdrop.

Not even mad. Tailgating in Fayetteville may be the worst in the SEC.

Here's a crazy thought...maybe, just maybe, they are doing this in those spots to try and improve tailgating. Wild concept, I know.

Fayetteville tailgating is more of an exclusive venture, which has its benefits but overall the tailgating is lacking compared to most SEC schools. On the flipside, Little Rock has one of the best tailgating setups on the golf course right outside the stadium that is first come first serve, but creates more of a crazy, less "classy" venue. I prefer Little Rock's tailgating by far, but as I get older I could see myself starting to prefer Fayetteville's.

It will happen. It happened to me and now I could careless to step on the golf course again and I like to throw down.

There is a massive area south of the stadium called the Gardens which is free tailgating.

I'm still indifferent... Now everyone in both of those spots will have tents which will mesh nicely with the Pit. However, charging kinda blows but you'll at least have your reserved spot so I see both ends of this argument.

If I still lived in Fayetteville, I would gladly pay for a nice spot in Victory Village East looking at the mountains and into the stadium on campus.

Never been to Fayetnam obviously but have heard really bad things. Little Rock's tailgate scene is very solid. Not quite LSU or Ole Miss level but in that next group with Bama, Auburn, UGA, etc.

There is no where to go because hills surround you in every direction and campus.

LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn and Alabama are very flat compared to Fayetteville. Hell the parking lots are slanted you'll see.

They've needed to open up Old Main Lawn for many years and it would be better than Ole Miss. It has every tree in the state of Arkansas planted in front of that 1870's building not to mention the Boston Mountains. Beautiful flat area and would be 15 feet from Dickson Street (Bars).

Old Main Lawn.
