I know SC is more known for pipped in music, mainly because our band for a while has spiraling out of control in size and sucktitude, but personally I think college bands are part of what makes college football so special.. Luckily we got a new band director from last year who I think was at LSU before and you can see our band has been modeled after theres. She has been hitting the recruiting trail hard to get people to join and its expected to get around 300 next year, they already sound a lot louder and look at lot better fwiw.

Nope still suspended, probably until next season...since summer camp is a big part of developing incoming freshman....and cleaning up existing members

HBCs are the cream of the crop as far as college bands go. I love ours but damn those are fun to watch.

Our band is big, 350 or so, but its not particularly memorable, IMO.

If the Famous Maroon Band is anything but dead fricking last on that list, it's a terrible list.

The Million Dollar Band should be in that list. We are celebrating our 100 year anniversary this season and we actually went and performed in Italy at the beginning of the summer. I will easily say though that the MDB is 2nd in the SEC behind LSU. That is a great band. I'm sorry, but for a list ranking 2011-2012, they should have replaced Tennessee with Bama, especially after Tennessee fielded this show last year.
