Definitely been posted here a few times BUT no one from Westboro was even there. Does that taint their effort?

Something as awesome as this can be posted a 1000 times in a minute and I wouldn't be upset about it.

I sort of think it does. They sort of got what we wanted. They didn't show up, but got credit for their influencing extending down to our neck of the woods. Millenials and the Facebook generation sort of demands attention, so there is no way their mitigating efforts would go unnoticed, but I wish they did. I commend them for the effort, and nothing should be taken away from that, but it is what it is.

And just how fricked in the head are these people to do something as tasteless as protest a funeral??? I'm surprised one of their insane little demonstrations hasn't ended in violence yet. I can't imagine what it would feel like to try to lay a loved one to rest with those nutjobs on the scene
