Driving through Bham and the radio ad for Bama's Continuting Education/Distance learning programs specifically mentions "If you've always cheered for the Tide but never had the opportunity to graduate...well now's your chance."

This. Besides, I knew a guy who loved Bama football when we were kids, but he couldn't get into the Capstone because of his upbringing. No one helped him get good grades, and his family didn't have a lot of money. Sidewalk fans > "Steak eating" fans.

Yeah, I've always been a Miami fan and when LeBron goes to South Beach all of the bandwagoners acted like they always loved the Heat. It was annoying.
