You didn't happen to see the defense Auburn trotted out onto the field last season did you?

And yet we only scored 6 points.

If Frazier is slow to develop, sure.

I think Saban still has more than 5 or 6 years left in him.

He is already 60. Depends if he wants to coach into his 70's or not. In all honesty, I hope he does not. I would rather see him retire on a high note and leave the program in great shape than squeeze the life out of the program like Bowden and Paterno and leave a mess behind.

I thought Clemson was a really good team after that but giving up 70 to West Virgina?

Sometimes a better team will lay an egg in a bowl game even though they are clearly the better team. This especially happens when the better team has nothing to prove as they proved all they needed to during the season.

The Clemson game will get very ugly in the trenches.

Lemonier and Ford are going to have a heyday on that young O-line.

I haven't seen a thread with this level of suck in quite some time. Kudos to you, Kentucky fan. Enjoy your 4 win season next year.

Auburn has only started off 0-2 nine times in their entire history.

I'm failing to see where all this MSU confidence has come from. AU beat them last year. Had a better record. Had a much better record in conference play. Beat them H2H. Returns everyone while MSU loses more. Has out-recruited them by far. And yet MSU is the one to be feared in the upcoming game?

A good possibility? I wouldn't say so. IMO, there's a better possibility of starting 2-0 than 0-2. Auburn is going to dominate the trenches against Clemson, and joey summed up the AU-MSU situation

It wasn't a flame by any means. You guys came back twice in back to back weeks to beat Utah State and MSU. I thought yall would have done the same against Clemson.

Do you expect the game to be close this year? I would say its going to be pretty evenly matched again this year.

It's a fair question. It was the 1st road game for something like 70% of the team and we got outplayed by a good but not great team.

Yes, I expect Auburn to win a close game. They have the advantage when it comes to skill position players, but we have the advantage in the trenches and Special Teams. I think we win because we dominate both lines of scrimmage

Because Gene Chizik is their coach.

Our defense crumbled in that game after the first few series. Watkins was an unstoppable force that day.

That's how we lost. Our offense kind of fell apart as well down the stretch. I attribute it to the youth of the team going on their first road game to what turned out to be a pretty resilient Clemson team that made the game their Super Bowl.

So, he's the reason we lose to Clemson, yet he gets no credit for winning a National Championship? It's only on Chizik when Auburn loses? Got it.

Gene Chizik just won a National Championship in 2010. I wouldn't say hes a bad coach.
