*All Rankings are 247Composite Rankings

Tennessee has room to sign 4, possibly 5 in this class.

Commitments
5* TN SG Robert Hubbs (Ranked 19th Nationally)
4* GA F AJ Davis (Ranked 122nd Nationally)
3* WV PG Travon Landry

Remaining Targets (in order)
1. 5* TN F Austin Nichols (Ranked 21st Nationally)
Tennessee is in very good shape. Duke and Virginia could be challengers. Twin sister is freshman at Tennessee. Former AAU teammate of Jarnell Stokes and current AAU teammate of Vols commit Robert Hubbs.
Officially Visiting Tennessee on October 20 (Alabama game)
2. 5* TN F Johnathan Williams III (Ranked 40th Nationally)
Some questions regarding who is still pursuing him. Memphis and possibly Georgetown are main competition. Tennessee has a legitimate chance.
Officially Visited Tennessee on September 15 (Florida game)

Golden So./Richardson Fr.
McRae So./McBee Jr.
Tatum Sr.
Maymon Jr.
Stokes Fr./Hall Jr.

This was our rotation last year, so as you can see our production is very spread out over the different classes. We lose only Tatum from last year's squad.

The roster's on pretty good ground as far as balance. The talent could afford to be upgraded somewhat, and the 2013 class could really do that.

Robert Hubbs visited Memphis yesterday. Tennessee and Duke though are on top according to Rob Lewis.

He will likely be a spring guy.

Bossi says he is a 5* next update.

Nichols seems to be telling those around him Tennessee will be tough to beat.

Hubbs with a 5* bump and has a final 3 of Tennessee, Duke, and Mizzou.

JW3 will OV to Tennessee in the fall.

He's from Tennessee right? Shouldn't UT be in the top 4 or 5 for every top prospect from the state?

Stokes is the only Memphis kid Tennessee has landed in the last 15 years. King had not mentioned Tennessee in over 9 months prior to tonight. It is very difficult to recruit Memphis in basketball.

Tennessee in good position to sign a top 5 class nationally imo even though I don't think we land King.

Memphis is only part of Tennessee in a legal sense.

And Jarnell, Easterwood was on the Gary Parrish show last night, and you could tell it was absolutely killing him to discuss all of the 2013 Memphis kids.

Fact is Jarnell is loved in Memphis, and he's recruiting the hell out of the city for us. Couple that with a hardnosed coach that relates to the local players and their families, and we have a recipe for success.

There are six kids from Memphis that are consensus top 100 players, Tennessee is out infront of U of M for every single one of them. Let me rephrase that, we are seriously going to have to tell a top 100 palyer from Memphis, there's no room.

Could you imagine...

Landry, Nichols, Hubss, JW3, and King. If Cuonzo lands that class, give the man a lifetime contract.

That's assuming we beat out all the other teams competing for all those guys.

Listening to the Gary Parrish show last week, Parrish said he was texting a coach trying to get recruiting info, wouldn't disclose the coaches name, but I'd assume it's either Andy Kennedy or Josh Pastner.

Said Nichols is essentially down to UT and Duke, and Hubbs is down to UT and UF.

Vols lead big for Nichols and have a slight lead for Hubbs. Said he'd be very surprised if both weren't vols.

The undisclosed coach said Cuonzo has basically been living in Dyer county this summer, and Hubbs and his family both are huge cuonzo fans.

No one can deny that Cuonzo is bringing it on the recruiting trail.

Tennessee will continually be in the top 3 in the SEC. What say ya, Jed?

I think top half of the league on an annual basis is reasonable, with second, third, or even first happening occasionally.

We won't be a tournament team every year, but we will be more often than not.

I think he'll prove to be one of the better coaches at one of the top SEC programs.

Historically, we may not be a great program, but we are right now. There's no excuse for fielding a poor Tenn basketball team. Best facilities in the SEC with arguably the second best fan base, and great instate talent.

Guys I live in Dyer County. Robert Hubbs is the best player to come out of this state in years. And this is counting Memphis. The Memphis Mitchell AD said "ROBERT HUBBS IS THE BEST PLAYER WE HAVE SEEN SINCE THADDEUS YOUNG".( Georgia Tech, 76ers). 6'5" almost 6'6" and can play. Has great great grades, is a yes sir, no sir type kid. No problems on or off the court. That being said, I'm pretty close with people who "KNOW THE SITUATION". It's a Duke/UT/Missouri battle as of right now. This kid is the real deal. People are already talking "ONE AND DONE" he is that good. Trust me ESPN will be in Newbern,,Tn in the spring of 2013 when Robert Hubbs announces his decision. The kid can flat out play.

I only hope that Rick Ray is a similar recruiter to Martin but I just don't see it happening.

All I see Coach Ray recruiting is hard working 3 stars who can play man and run a motion offense. Our days of recruiting big names went out the door with Stansbury
