I wouldn't think close at all seeing as most schools don't recruit a committed player, especially one that has been committed for two years. I also wouldn't think he'd be close to getting a UNC offer anyways.

Roy would. Hell, Roy recruits players who are on scholarship at other schools.

Apparently 247 has hired Jerry Meyer away from rivals. I don't even think about them when it comes to basketball recruiting, but I guess they're going to start taking it more seriously.

He was at the NBA combine. Maybe a second round pick I guess, he measured out alright, 6'9 in shoes (in comparison Anthony Davis was just 6'10 and a half). His draft prospects weren't good but at least he didn't measure out at like 6'7 and a half or something. Only weighed 215 though.

Rivals fired him because he was lazy according to a few people that work for rivals. It does make 247 look like they care a little about basketball, though.

Talk was from our 247 board yesterday from a guy who works at the Christ School. Was just passing it along.
I honestly don't think jealousy comes into play here, as we are in good shape with a couple guys who are more highly ranked at the 4, most notably Austin Nichols.

The only thing that I could see pulling Hale away from us is if we sign Jarrell Martin or some other PF. If he had any doubts he probably would have already decommitted by now. Like Bryant said I don't think there is anything to see here.

Looks like we are after another PG. Rashawn Powell said hes been hearing from us recently. No. 78 player in ESPN 100. Haven't seen this one play, but sounds a bit like Releford.

Good to hear. Hopefully Grant can beat Self in this battle. If we can get a guy like Barber on board maybe we can get another elite level recruit to take a closer look or pull the trigger.
