WEST
LSU 8-0
Alabama 7-1
Mississippi State 5-3
Auburn 4-4
Arkansas 4-4
Texas A&M 2-6
Ole Miss 0-8

Highly likely that if this happens, we have one or two bowl-eligible teams get left at home, even adding the Independence Bowl...

We will be left at home if we go 2-6 in SEC play

Oh yeah, you've got 2 FCS teams don't you... so you have to win 7?

You should get 3 in conference IMO

I seem to remember thinking that the 22 pts Auburn got in 2011 was too high also. That worked out good for people betting Auburn

Well that's all the proof I need.

I would never bet on games in the first few weeks of the season, simply because teams change so much from year to year, but I've seen the line for Michigan/Alabama to be -10 to Bama, so jump all over that.
That said Vanderbilt week 4, Arkansas week 5, LSU week six, Auburn week 7, USC week 8, Georgie week 9, not touching week 10, Piggies week 11, piggies week 12, and LSU week 13 are the best options IMO.

I like the first few weeks best, IMO...if you really do your off-season homework. Vegas lines get harder and harder to beat as they accumulate more and more data. JMO

Are they still counting home field advantage as a 3 pt. handicap to the home team? Like if Team A is @ Team B with Team B favored by 2.5 or 3, then that's the same as a pick-em spread?

IMO, they are looking at USC playing UF in the Swamp....I know we beat the Lizards there last time we played, but we've still only ever beaten UF in the swamp once in our entire history. They may be considering that to be a huge factor....

About right.

Tennessee at Mississippi State -3.5
Sounds right

Texas A&M at Mississippi State -6
also good.

Arkansas -1 at Mississippi State
Figured they'd be favored by 5 or 6. Either they are losing credit due the coaching change or we are getting a lot of credit for the game being in Starkville. OR both

To each his own.
Something to always remember is that vegas lines are made to have people bet evenly, not what they actually think the outcome will be. So betting against perennially overrated schools like Notre Dame, Michigan, and Texas is generally speaking a good idea, since they normally have a large fanbase and will skew bets towards their team.

I'll bet my left nut that Auburn is not favored over us when we play. I do agree that the LSU line is too low. Needs to be at least 6 1/2. SCe can just frick off. The country wants them to be better than us soo badly and it will never happen.

I've never understood people's determination in trying to prove unknown future predictions.

Okay buddy, I hope that your left nut gets ginsu'd before Arkansas' game in JHS. I would say good luck to you, but for moron's who speak in absolute truths, you really deserve what you get.

This is entirely pointless. No way those spreads are going to be close, aside from maybe the first 3 weeks.

Both A&M and Mizzou will do better than 2-6 in conference. Not saying much better, but better.
