I will just say it, as far as I'm concerned Auburn and LSU are

our 2 biggest rivals. I know that is influenced by the fact that I live in Louisiana, but I would rather beat LSU more than any team but Auburn.
I think the age BS where people say the older fans consider Tenn. a bigger rival is just that, BS. Those people would be in their 80's and 90's now.
I get the North Alabama folks hate for Tennessee, living so close to the state line, but that is still nothing more than a vocal minority.
I want Bama to beat everyone on its schedule, but if they could only win 3, it would be Auburn, LSU, then Tennessee for me, and if they could only win 2, Auburn and LSU.
I almost never come in contact with a Tennessee fan so some of the fire is missing from that game for me.
As for as the schedule thing, with the 6-1-1, this drives the corny dogs in my opinion because they don't have the stroke or respect that they fell that they deserve, more than this is about getting to play freaking Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, and currently with the state of its program Tennessee more often.
No elite team really cares if they play those schools more often, so that leaves UGA, and maybe in the future Tennessee if they ever wake back up, so please spare me with the wanting to play those teams more often BS.
My rant for today.

Dis is goin to be good.

Very true. LSU is a bigger game now. It's Auburn, LSU, and then Tennessee I guess. Hell, I get more pumped up about the occassional Florida game than Tennessee now too.
If Tennessee doesn't make a Saban-type hire soon, they may be hard-pressed to ever recover from their malaise.

LSU is a big, hugely important game now but I don't hate them. They are just like UF to me.

You should read the next thread re: the 6-1-1 SEC schedule stupidity and long term effects/future.
Lot of common sense in that article...what's best for bama,GA,tn,AU is NOT necessarily best long term for the SEC...makes a LOT of sense !
