Omaha: who's been there for the CWS

I went the last year of Rosenblatt stadium. USC and Florida were in it from the SEC.
One of the best baseball experiences that I will never forget. Just wished the Hogs would have made it that year.
I'll go back when the Hogs make it back to the CWS.

Missed it the last two years .

2000, 2009.... Stayed the entire two weeks in 2009 (I went to LSU, my brother went to Texas)...took my dad's rv up in 2009 and stayed at lake manawa state park

Twice 2010 and 2011 fortunately my cousin lives in Omaha. I'd love to go again this year.

Thats awesome, the last year at Rosenblatt and the 1st year at the new stadium.

It is unbelievable. I was one those that thought it was a mistake to move from rosenblatt. Last year changed my mind. It doesn't have the history, but it will with time.

I was there in '03. Saw LSU vs Fullerton and Mo. St. Vs Rice. Sadly my CWS t-shirt is too ragged to wear anymore.

I got lucky. Made one trip in 2000 and the rest is history.
Dont think I can do better than that 2000 experience.

I went in 2001 with Tennessee, but I didn't really enjoy it tbh. Didn't really have good seats. Just wasn't what I thought it would be. Had the chance to go back when the Vols went in 05, but I chose not to.
I may check out the new stadium when Tennessee goes again.

I don't really follow college baseball too closely I admit, but it does seem too difficult to make it if you're good. Hell, we've made it 3 times in the last 15 years and we are a terrible program. If you make the NCAA Tourney, you normally only face one good team which is in the Supers, right?

I know all of the shite talking is due to us not being able to make it the past 40 years, but we've actually been 4 times. All of OM's success is 40-50 years ago!

Been many times. Very badass, every baseball fan should go. I much prefer Rosenblatt though

Just going off when we have made the NCAA Tourney. We host 2 MTSU, Austin Peay type schools and one decent BCS school and then play a good opponent in a 2 out of 3 series the next weekend to get to Omaha.
Every time we have been good enough to make the NCAA Tourney, this has been the format. Is that not accurate?
