Stoneybrook may be for real.
Samford threw their #2 and shut-out the winningest and arguably the hottest sec team going into regional play. They look for real.
Ex LSU pitchers are good for other teams! Thanks CPM!

That Gary, IN is a shite hole. And I'll never bitch again about UK having too many pitchers.

Miami shouldn't have been hosting (not making my case for UK when we blow that many chances to win against Kent State).

Florida is probably going to take it all. Best team in the country IMO.

That MSU dreams of being a championship winning program but, in keeping with their tradition, seems to be more bark than bite in postseason play.

Not trolling. They just talk about being an elite baseball program, then lose to Samford on the first day.

I actually had them destroying everyone in that regional and moving on based on their performance at the SEC tourney....my bad.

that florida game was driving me insane. it should have been closer to 8 or 9 runs. they left 6 stranded in the 1st four innings. if you mess around like that and dont have your pitcher throw a no-hitter, the better teams can put 4 runs up easily.

heres to better bats and the weekend.

I've noticed that MSU fans have conveniently switched their bravado from baseball to being all loud and proud about the cowbells.

Who is "they"? And as in elite, are you talking about this year or over the course of the modern day era of college baseball?

Well, it's the truth. For this season at least.

What was the final score? Was it their #4 that threw the no hitter?

Being in the top 10% in all time wins amongst all D1 baseball programs and in the top 10% of that same group in all time CWS appearances coupled with holding 15 of the top 20 on campus attendance records amongst all D1 teams is a pretty good group to be in. I don't know if you call that elite but I would rather have that history over Auburn's. However, aside from a couple of yahoos on here maybe, I have not heard "elite baseball team" come out the mouths of any rational MSU fans in years, especially not this year.
Did you watch the Samford/MSU game yesterday?

You are No. 19 in all time wins...out of 297. You could say top 20 with a top 10 attendance. I would call that a historically strong program.

Hell, you are top 5 in all time CWS appearances without a title.

Ziegler was a flat out beast last night. 1 hit till the seventh was impressive.
Matulis had a save for ucf in 2-1 game.
