I looked up the selection committee and found something interesting. Of the 10 members of the committee, 4 of them represent schools from the Carolinas. Here is the list of committee members:

Kyle Kallander – Big South Conference Commissioner (Committee Chair)

The Big South only had 1 team in (Coastal Carolina), but the Big South is located entirely within NC, SC and VA with 11 teams, 7 of which are from the Carolinas. Those states combined for 10 teams and 4 regional host sites. Only 2 of those teams were AQs.

Gary Overton – East Carolina Assistant Athletic Director

East Carolina in as an at large

Larry Gallo – North Carolina Associate Athletic Director

UNC in as the #4 National Seed (they did deserve a Nat seed)

Eric Hyman – South Carolina Athletic Director

Even our SEC rep is from the Carolinas!

Dennis Farrell – Big West Conference Commissioner

Chris Monasch – St.John’s Athletic Director

Mark LaBarbera – Valparaiso Athletic Director

Note: LaBarbera served as an athletics administrator at North Carolina State from 1989-1999

Randy L. Buhr – Washington State Associate Athletic Director
David Heeke – Central Michigan Athletic Director
John Hardt – Bucknell Athletic Director

Still digging. More to follow.

Yes it has. Clearly you haven't been around the last few days.

No, was in Hoover and wasn't really on. I looked through the stuff from today and there has been a lot of talk of "anti-SEC" bias and "ACC bias", but I hadn't seen the board members posted. I was suprised that one region was so heavily represented.
