Upset might be a little too strong of a sentiment. More disappointed at the lack of originality.

Leader of the Pack weekend was just begging to be used.

They should give recruits wolf shirts at least.

I understand him wanting to have a "Big Cat" type weekend as it has proven to be successful and he was involved in 3 of them.

Now for a better name... "Big Red" weekend might have been a better name..

Pewter beer steins with bas-relief sculptures of wolves in a woodland setting...

That shite only makes sense when you have good players coming to visit. Not when you have Billy Bob from Corning, Arkansas.

Jonesboro is a shitty arse place to live. Extremely boring as well.

Jonesboro may be a little boring, but it's far from a 'shitty' place. I've been there several times.
Not too bad of a drive to Memphis, if you want to find more excitement.

Malzhan is marketing the Red Wolves in state, and doing a pretty good job of it. I don't see them ever getting to high D1 level, but he's gaining some support and fans in the state and will most likely have a pretty good little program going before long.

Until the day they play each other, I can root for the Hogs AND the Red Wolves.
