well nola will at least get to pitch 2. if that inning had been long he may have only pitched 1.

He pitched much better than I was expecting.

And Stratton hits the first batter

really? Nola is awesome, why would you expect him not to pitch well?

We beat him up against ya'll earlier this season.

only the first inning actually and he was making his first sec start as a true freshmen. he's our saturday starter now. he's more than capable of pitching 7 scoreless or 7 1 run ball against yall.

Anybody can pitch that against us currently
Heck Central Arkansas held us to zero runs.

Nola is going to be a high draft pick one day. He can be dominant.

the point is nola is a stud. just because you got 5 runs on him in the 1st inning of his first sec start doesnt mean you should expect that now when he's basically a sophomore.

Not saying he can't. That's the only time I really saw him pitch. He obviously throws a lot of strikes. The 70 k's/6 BB ratio is crazy good.

Stratton gets out of the jam. Strikes out 3 in the process.
