I'm talking in the Big 3 (or 4). I say 4 because ESPN recognizes Womens BBall as a major since it is broadcasted all season long.

It was a point of discussion at lunch, and the only school I can think of that has had a truly dominant year was Florida (2006).

So what is the most dominant year your program(s) had in recent memory?

This run from 97-98 was probably our best in school history

97 SEC and National Champions (Women's Basketball)
97 NCAA Tournament (Men's Basketball)
97 NCAA Tournament (Baseball)
97 SEC Champions (Football)
98 SEC and National Champions (Women's Basketball)
98 NCAA Tournament (Men's Basketball)
98 SEC and National Champions (Football)

Recently our best was the 07-08 Sports Year
Won the East in football
Won the SEC Championship in basketball
Won the SEC and National Championship in women's basketball

They won the SEC Tourney, yes.

We went 14-2 and won the SEC championship by 2 games over UK.

So they give out a trophy for the regular season and tournament champions? That's weird.

Didn't Florida also make the CWS in 2006?

Probably 1986.

Football won the SEC and went to the Sugar Bowl
Basketball went to the Final Four
Baseball went to the CWS

The winner of the regular season gets the SEC Championship trophy, the winner of the tournament gets the SEC Tournament Championship trophy.

Damn, definitely not the topic I first thought of when I read the thread title.

I clicked thinking of some nude gymnast as Ms April...

Oh well, no pix, I'll just GTFO..

Well for South Carolina it would definitely be the last two years with the historic baseball run and 20 football wins in the last two years. Biggest bowl win with a 30-13 beating of Nebraska in the Cap One and a three-peat over Clemson. Our men's basketball has really sucked it up but our women's had the best year ever for them losing to Stanford in the Sweet 16.

As much as I hate to admit it, Texas had a run in 05-06 that was pretty dang good. They had a Baseball Nat'l Championship ('05), a MNC in football ('05), and an elite 8 in basketball ('05-'06)

in the 07-08 school year LSU had the MNC in football, and made the CWS in the last year ever of the box. Basketball was freaking terrible though.

Football = Could argue for a National title.
Basketball = Final Four
Baseball = College World Series

This one. From a W/L ratio (counting help from #4) arguably one of the top 5-10 seasons for any school, ever.

Can't even compete with the TN and FA ones...Champs > W/L any day.
