Would expect to hear more after July 1....A&M and Mizzou will officially be in, and the future BCS format will be determined.

Hopefully the SEC network can be in existence for the 2013 season.

what texasaggie08 said... one of our premium guys who has access to President Loftin basically spelled it out like that.

I'm hearing some ridiculous #s per team after the SEC Network deal is in place. Its kind of hard to fathom.

I like the sound of that. Also is the negotiations limited to our current partners or could some like NBC jump in?

1. Let the Big 12 and ACC get their deals done.
2. See if the ACC deal really does cause anyone to bolt to the Big 12 or B1G.
3. If 2=YES, see if any schools named Virginia Tech or North Carolina State are interested then GOTO 4. If 2=NO, GOTO 5.
4. If 3=YES, invite and accept then GOTO 5. If 3=NO, GOTO 5.
5. Redo deal.
6. MEGAPROFIT.

re: SEC tv negotiations

I've heard after the SEC TV deal is negotiated, anywhere from $55-$70 million per team.

I know that sounds ridiculous, but I've heard this in 3 different places.

$30-$35M per team baseline. Especially if a new SEC network is formed. And yes I would call my cable provider to request it. Repeatedly. From every phone and computer I have. Even the ones at work. And then call saying I'm my SO and say she wants it too.

ETA: $55-$70M?!?!?!

$30-$35 was without SEC Network and before Pac 12 did their new deal.

Thanks for the clarification.

In this case it's good to be last. It is written that the first shall be last and the last shall be first (in this case, revenue per team). Let the others drive up the numbers, then come in with the premier product and MEGAPROFIT.

Maybe LSU will finally pay to make TS look the same on all 4 sides. Probably not though

What time frame do these payouts of the ridiculous numbers you guys are throwing out occur? like per year or over 10 years or what?

per year, starting likely in 2013 (if that is when the SEC network comes online).

For 2012, we may just make the same per team amount that each team made in 2011.

Well I think that is stupid, and no one would have told you that, much less three. Unless they were AggieYell, TexAgs, and GigEm247. In which case, dumb.

What is the Big Ten Network paying out per year? I know it wasn't doing too well at first, but it is doing okay now. That subscription model is based upon cable/satellite provider subscription fees, right? So whatever it gets locked in at a certain year, it is just going to max out at a fee, right?Certain lower fee within a coverage area, higher outside of it? But inside the coverage area, it has the possibility of being grouped in to a sports package?

I don't have all the numbers, I'm just guesstimating that if the lhn makes 15 mil per year(even though that model operates completely differently), the BTN, with its diluted teams, but better coverage, probably made 11-12 per school last year, probably about 15 mil per team by 2013 or 2014? Assuming there are some holdouts? I don't have the population numbers, but having Florida and Texas populations(you're welcome, yet again), and the SEC product itself would have me believe that number is closer to 20-21 million out the gate. With the added demand for baseball in the south, and having solo airspace in the spring, I would say it gets closer to 23-24, just for tier 3/The SEC Network.

Added value from tier 1 and tier 2? I say you're looking at anywhere from $55-$70 million per team.

The numbers I heard were per year. So I have to think Ball Gravy's were also per year.
