Who's your dark horse for next year?

Who do you think has a shot at winning the NC next year that most people won't see coming?

For me, it was Arkansas before the Petrino fiasco.
Now? UGA sounds like a solid pick. I think a lot of people are unaware of exactly how talented UGA is, with an easy schedule to boot. Richt has had adequate time to win a NC for UGA. It seems like it's "now or never" for UGA under Richt (for a NC, at least). "Never" might be a stretch, but the pieces couldn't be more in place.

If it's the SEC then I'll say LSU. I think they can get there if they can finally get over the Arkansas hump.
Okay I'll say MSU. I mean hell, they laid an egg last season after the slight hype so let's see what they can do now that it only about LSU and Bama.

Florida State.
They will stop committing all those penalties and establish a running game
Oh wait, do you only mean SEC schools?

I'll give you two: Kansas State and Texas. Kansas State has one of the most dynamic dual threat QBs in the country and a ton of guys returning. I also really like the Texas defense (7 returning starters on a unit that finished 7th in rushing defense, 10th in pass efficiency defense, and 11th in overall defense) and have 10 returning starters on offense. If they can get serviceable production from their QB, Texas will be really dangerous this year.

I'll say Florida State for my non-SEC team. I wasn't joking about the amount of penalties they commit though. If they can stop that trend, they'll be in business. Oh, and they need to find some sort of a running game too
SEC: Georgia.
Aaron Murray is pretty good but he choked it up when they played a good defense last year. If he can cut out the turnovers and that O-line can hold up, why not? They have another favorable schedule.

So, Petrino is still at Arkansas right?

Gators. No preseason expectations. Favorable home schedule and D should be salty.

Its hard to call these 2 teams true darkhorses but since the SEC is going to win again, I am going to say:
Oklahomo
and
West Virginia have the best chance at being in the game.
