Michael Roth until he graduates! Has the career wins, ERA and Rings to prove it. Stratton has been pretty amazing this year though.

It appears that way, but there are a lot of damn good pitchers in the conference this year.

Pitchers can't control that. All they can do is pitch. Wins are dependent on hitting as well. There are quite a few starters with similar records and as good or better ERAs.

Sr. RHP Jon Luke Jacobs (5-1, 2.06 ERA)

So. RHP Ryne Stanek (6-2, 2.30 ERA)

So. LHP Alex Wood (5-1, 2.57 ERA)

So. LHP Corey Littrell (6-0, 2.51 ERA)

So. RHP Bobby Wahl (5-0, 2.15 ERA)

I'm just throwing this out there to be a homer, kinda like the OP.

Kevin Gausman 3.12 ERA 7-1 W-L 97 STRIKE OUTS

I knew he had a lot and was wondering if someone would bring up a comparison of pitchers by IP, Ks, and K/9.

Ultimately, wins are the end all be all, but they aren't always the best way to measure a pitcher. There are pitchers with lesser ERAs, but more losses. That is on hitting, not the pitcher.

Stop dude just stop! Stratton is on an amazing run but SC's Roth (Fri) 4-0 2.57 ERA Holmes (Sun) 6-0 3.29 ERA so SC has 2 undefeated weekend starters that have been in the rotation all year. BTW Roth's career numbers prior to this year 17-5 1.57 ERA with 24 starts and oh yeah 2 RINGS!

Prior to this weekend y'all had a 3rd according to this. Didn't USCe sweep 'Bama? He should be undefeated as well then.

Didn't include him since he hasn't been weekend starter all year. Think he has 4 SEC weekend starts.

Wins aren't the end all be all for knowledgable baseball fans. A pitcher can't control his run support.

If you want to talk about who is the best at what they do not who has the best stuff then Nick Goody as LSU's closer

ERA: 0.78
Innings: 23
Saves: 8 (none blown)
Hits against: 12
Runs/ER: 2/2
Ks: 34
BB: 2
BA against: .151

If we're talking about best stuff, then Stanek.

Got the loss last night because of our shitty bats, but had a no-hitter going into the 6th.
