I promise this isn't a flame: LINK

quote:

“I’m human, so some of the things that were being said on twitter got to me,” Claiborne said after his selection. “That test don’t tell me who I am and what time of guy I am and what kind of ability I have. That test cant drop me. “They say it’s an IQ test. I came to the combine for football. I looked at the test, and wasn’t any questions about football. I didn’t see no point in the test. I’m not in school anymore. I didn’t complete it. I only finished 15 or 18 questions.”

I'm not saying that I don't believe him, but this raises so many questions, such as:

1.) what else will he take upon himself to decide if he needs to do it or not?
2.) if he only finished 15 or 18 questions, how did he know the rest of the questions weren't "about football"?
3.)surely he meant to say "kind of guy" and "time of guy" was an editing mistake?

But seriously, I was curious as to what you guys think of the kid and how he will transition into the NFL.

I don't disagree with what he was saying. They are football players, and he can obviously learn a complicated scheme(Chavis's). I will say that he should just ignore the haters, and not talk out about them.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed but that can be said for many elite NFL talents. I think he'll be a solid pro for many years

Lets say he made a 100% on the wonderlink....that would have done what for him? Got him drafted in the "pre" first round? If he scored a 4 on the wonderlink, a supposed IQ test, I say good for him because there are a lot of smart people out there with multiple degrees-including myself-who will NEVER make the kind of dough this guy will make in ONE YEAR.

Claiborne's play and consistency speaks for itself. The guy knows football, and was LSU's most talented player last year. Will become an excellent NFL player

I want to know how you got into R-Kansas if you can't comprehend this statement.

Miles fixed his high school GPA, had tutors write all his papers and take enough of his tests online to keep him eligible.

U mad?

Similar to my reaction on the Cam Newton "story", I don't really want to know. I don't think we want to start looking too closely into the ways top SEC players are admitted into school and how they get through it

Not every institution can accept such learned individuals like Darren McFadden and Ryan Mallett. Give us a break....

he passed the same way football players pass at the other SEC schools

Same way things happen at every SEC school ... including Arkansas.
