They abolished this privilege in 2005 after there were "riots" and general keg parties outside the bars, but they are bringing it back for the SEC move to drive business, but the only change is you can't bring your own booze this time. You can purchase in the bar and walk around the Northgate Promenade.

Bout damned time. That no alcohol outside bullshite was stupid as frick.

FYI one of the tactics they used to pass that no drinking outside bond was by placing those statues behind northgate. Drinking around them was considered "defacing art". fricking CS Nazi regime.

I was there during its prime. I remember one Sunday Night where we brought 4 kegs, a swimming pool and Willie Nelson ended up showing up on the Back porch. High times on Northgate indeed!

They decided to shut it down after the 2002 OU "riot" when we beat #1 OU. I forget how many arrests there were that night, but it was a frick ton.

Of course back then, the City Council was nazis. This group and the current police chief support this move as it is actually safer to do it this way.

I'm planning on making a trip to College Station for the Razorback game and I've heard from numerous people that I should stay as far away from A&M as possible. I'm also hearing I should definitely check out Blinn's campus and that it and Northgate are the best things about the trip to CS. What are the cool things to do around Blinn college? If possible could you give me some more information on sights I should see around Blinn's campus and Northgate that aren't to close to A&M. Thanks in advance.

The gibberish here is just too confusing. It's like a sort of troll, based on strange inaccuracies.

Holy shite, that would have been epic.

I'll sit down now (Willie never showed up to any of our parties).

Stay away from A&M but go to Northgate? Northgate borders A&M's campus. If you're drinking on the front porch of the bars on Northgate, you're looking at dorms on A&M's campus.

Not sure if your post was serious or a troll, but if someone told you that, they are idiots.

Blinn is in the ghetto of Bryan. Now that I think about it, someone was fricking with you.
