As much as I hate to admit and I want to myself for saying this Bama winning the NC this past season probably saved college football. With all the indications saying that there more than likely be a playoff system. I just hope they get it right and have only CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS and put the 1st round games on campus.

Probably so, we already saved the SEC in 1992 with the SECCG.

I agree. As much as i hated to lose the title game, if that means it created a playoff then i'm definitely more ok with it.

besides, child28 is the best poster on this board that's not from the OT.

ESPN saved college football by pimping the shite out of alabama thus allowing them to play in a game they didn't deserve.

The proposed plan says that the teams do not have to win their conference to get in the playoffs and they will use permanent stadiums for venues so they wont be on campus.
