the real question is has an interim coach ever won a national championship before or will this year be the first?

Actually, contrary to the popular belief, Bama will win a minimum of 4 national championships in the next 5 years as a result of this incident.

If I'm not mistaking . . our 1992 trophy was dropped too. I know the corner of the trophy (wooden black box) is all frickered up. It is in the Bryant Museum

The curse of the trophy. Even "the bear" will not be able to save you now. Ask Florida.

I would hope a dead man couldn't help us. The logistics of digging his remains up and him trying to coach, it'd be awkward for everyone.

This is only a bcd championship trophy. Sabah will freak about this. He is all about "controlling the controllables" on the field. This is beyond control. This is the stuff that really gets him chapped. He will quit.

What type quit are we talking about here? Like what we did to y'all January 9th or what happened to Petrino at Arkansas?

I didn't understand what big news it was that LSU hadn't lost a BCS game in the Superdome either. Apparently it's good luck for you guys.

Just more clutter to sweep up.
