Just arrived in Aggie land

For chili fest, it is humid, flat and miserable looking.... Can't wait to come for games!

Two of these sound right. It's humid?

Oxford isn't humid? Oxford is way less flat than College Station?

College Station is much closer to the Gulf Coast than you think. Besides it's been humid all week here in DFW and we're way more inland.

That's what I was thinking.

Chilifest isn't College Station... its in the middle of a pasture in Snook about 15 miles to the West.

With that said, you'll have a blast partying with 50K-60K people. One of the largest college parties in the nation put on by the SAEs at A&M.

I was surprised that it was humid because I have been many times. It's usually a dry place. And it's different from Mississippi because MS is usually rolling hills with a lot of trees, which is different than flat and barren.

For Vet School Open House

FIFY.

Actually this really is the weekend for A&M's Vet School Open House. A&M has one of only 31 such programs in the country and graduates around 10% of all vets each year.

And they have plans for a major expansion of their facilities to include more classroom space and an expanded small animal (i.e., cats and dogs) hospital.

Good try Porker Face. I've been to Amarillo on business and I know it when I see it.

Beat me to it.

Snook has rolling hills. From downtown Snook (next to Sodolak's, home of the chicken friend bacon. I highly recommend the bacon and the "xtra small" sirloin which actually covers your plate.) you can see Kyle Field pretty nicely.

Snook is also home to what I consider to be one of the better sausages, Slovacek's.
