They have taken this saga much better than I imagine other fans around the league would have.

If I'm going Germans on this notion then so be it - they clearly have a good sense of humor and the attitude of "what can you do when there is nothing you can do", has been very refreshing to see.

Yeah, they seem to be taking it well. The AD has only gotten a few death threats. They really are taking it all in stride.

To be fair, most of our threats have only involved maiming...

Can you imagine if Saban was caught in a big scandal?...

I can't even fathom how the Gumps would react

Well... When they lose to opposing teams they kill tree's... when they win Championships they teabag people... Pretty obvious they would buy WMDs and take out the country if they fired Sabear

I mean, when you put together all the parts to the story, you can't help but laugh at yourself.

He gave her $20,000? lol

I've been wondering how she hasn't been brought up on prostitution charges.

ETA: Damn that would make this scandal so much funnier if it happened.

I think this was more about losing the "Game of the Century" as opposed to winning a mulligan.

The IRS will likely come looking for a chunk of that $20k, the hits will keep on coming.

Thanks for the kindness Templars. Now when the other SEC have their sex scandal that leaks out, no school is immune to this sort of thing.

Our go with the flow attitude now will be heinous and we'll all likely get banned.

It really is a hilarious story, just sucks that it happened to us. I have handled it much better than I could have imagined. I think I finally realized its just a fricking game.

I think they've handled things exceedingly well. As hard as it is to say, they are a credit to the SECr.

On a side note, they are also a lot less of a pain in the arse now that their delusions of grandeur have been shite-canned. ...at least for now.

Yesterday morning at 7am, taken by a local behind the camera guy who was setting up ESPN's live feed.

Haha I don't know why but I laughed out loud at that post. I think it is because I could definitely see that being posted on Hogville. Posters would buy into that shitty picture as some divine sign from god that we will bounce back, and start claiming "everything happens for a reason". I may post it there myself to see if my assumptions come true.

If posted at the right time you could spin whatever coach we hire into a divine sign we will compete for a national championship this year...
