They are the ones who got stabbed in the back here, IMHO.
Bobby Petrino betrayed his family over a silly girl young enough to be his daughter- who also shares the blame in this entire mess. Goddamn shame- all of it.
Arkansas fans, too, didn't ask for this shite. They spend their hard-earned money on the product this idiot just flushed down the toilet; they deserve a lot better.
I sincerely hope they land a coach worthy of this great fan base- that right now is going through tough times.
And I hope Mrs. Petrino does whatever is necessary to bring this jerk to his knees.

The majority of the Hog fans deserve the ridicule they are getting though.

I feel really bad for his wife and kids. I also feel for the good Arkansas fans who aren't supporters of Petrino, they have a great fanbase and I can certainly sympathize with getting the gut punch like they got today.

Arky hired a scumbag on scumbag pretenses and now have to eat it.

The only person I feel sorry for in this whole ordeal is chump. But at least he know better now.

The way Arkansas fans have handled themselves on this board the last few years....I honestly don't feel bad for them
they were cocky , talking all kinds of trash about LSU.
They talked down about Coach Miles all the time..

Most of you are cool. It's kinda like the Rantards make all LSU fans look bad. I should have said a select few deserve the ridicule they are getting.
It really does suck for you guys. The good fans don't deserve this. Be proud of the fact that you have an AD that obviously loves your university. This will all blow over in time.

i mean honestly as a fan this does suck like you said it's not even like we were braking laws or anything. we fill up the staidum when we are getting our asses kicked we donate or some of us donate money, we suffer through getting our shite pushed in by everyone in 08 and we finally have a balanced team with depth and this happens. it's very fricked up.
I agree he had to go. but Long better nail this hire or the state will have his arse on the cross within 2 years.
this was the year. this was the year that we had bama and lsu at home. this was the year we had gragg, hamilton, wilson and davis returning with a real o line for once. this was suppose to be the year that it all set up for us and it's now just deflated. i'm pretty pissed but petrino did this himself. but still. long has to nail this hire like a triple back summer salt by Dominique dawes at the Olympic games

I agree with everything you posted.
I can't understand why some are so angry at the AD. I'm sure he knows more of the story than the rest of us do. Just keep supporting him. It will work out for the best.

Gotta agree, no fanbase as a whole deserves this shite sandwhich, just cause a few on message boards get carried away. Fans pay good money on merchandise, games, and look forward to supporting the young men during the season. They deserve better than what this moral cripple gave them.

Razorback fans...i feel your pain, but you had to know in the back of you mind it would probably end badly. Look at his track record. Still you guys just want to support the head man. I supported Urban who was pretty much a douche but I couldn't see it. Sorry to see you guys left in the lurch.
