Started slowly in the 1st half, but both QB's really picked it up in the 2nd half.

Blue beat Orange 21-20. Driskel was 10/11 for 133 yards and a rushing TD for Blue. Brissett was 9/16 for 201 and 2 passing TD's for both squads.

Considering how bad our offense looked in last year's Spring Game, this is EXCITING

this. or you can be like the richtities and disney dawgs who see 12 sacks in our scrimmage as an indication that our defense is just really really good

Lots more misdirection from the offense, more than last year.
Hopefully Chris Johnson plays more.
Offensive line looks to be more physical.
The defense needs Elam out there.
I think we'll be much improved from last year. I'm looking at 8-9 wins, before the bowl game.
I like where this program is headed.

This is why spring games suck. If your offense does good you think your defense sucks. If your defense does good you think your offense sucks.

Half of our defensive starters are supposedly injured right now, so honestly we have no clue about the defense.

Going based off of last season, UF lost one starter on defense. UF also finished #8 in the NCAA in total defense, so UF finishing top 5 in total defense in the NCAA isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially if the offense isn't a total 3-and-out machine again.

That's the only good thing about our offense being so bad last year - can't go anywhere but up.

Based on?
That 0-6 record vs winning opponents last year?
The fact that Florida won its scrimmage against itself today?
Hope u r right but I'm going to guess that your talent evaluation skills did not allow you to form any sort of accurate opinion based on what you saw today.

UF's defense was solid, but not great, last year. Their DLine can get pushed around by the physical OLines they play. The LBs are average. The next time RoPo comes up big will be the first time. Jelani is a blown up safety. The secondary is the strength. Elam can play and brings some thunder when he tackles, he's just not the biggest guy in the world. The CBs are definitely SEC caliber.

But like someone else pointed, the D will be better if only by the virtue of the Gator O can't be as bad as last year.

Hey a-hole. Just let it go. They are obviously going to get better. They had a decent recruiting year and they are young and talented everywhere. jackass

Your first problem is failing to realize that most teams in the SEC recruit really well. It then comes down to player development.
Young and talented everywhere? Maybe you are seeing a different roster than I am but I just don't see it. Name one WR that scares an opposing DC? Who's going to get the tough yds between the tackles? Who on that 'all-world' DL is going to make an impact? And most importantly, what did you see from Muschamp as a head coach that made you have confidence that they will improve?

I got 21-0 reasons to show that we're gonna improve this year.

With the exception of y'all (11-41) and bama (38-10), we were in all the games we played. And that was with 60-67 scholarship players. Oh, by the way, did you know that this was the 2nd time in oh, 31 years that y'all scored over 35 points against us?

The offense looks alot better this spring than last. Even though there wasn't much shown by way of plays (hey, it's a spring game), it looks as though we have a clue now. Btw, besides, running those stable of backs, what will lsu do?

I'll ask you: How long do you think Florida will be down for?

A while. While the team may be marginally better, I don't think it translates to more Ws. The OLine is horrendous - possibly the worst in the SEC. No WR is a game changer. 2 unproven QBs. A group of RBs that are anonymous outside of Alachua County.

I have a non-flame question

Whose going to start QB for you guys? Which team was the "1s" and who were the "2s"?

I get the feeling that Brisset is going to start but supposedly the job is open all summer for competition.

I feel sorry for fans of teams that LSU beat by 30 pts last season that use the score of the BCSNC game to dig at LSU fans.

He's not supposed to respond to an a-hole with a dig. I guess he should have just ignored it.

At least we won our bowl game though.

Maybe 2 more years IMO.

Could easily see 8-4, POSSIBLY 9-3 with our schedule this year.

UF's O-Line actually is one of the most experienced in the SEC this year.

No WR is a game changer.

Debose emerged last year. Need a couple more to step up, so I can't disagree here.

Okay.

Kinda think our RB core will be one of the few bright spots for us this year.

So what do I think UF does? 8-4 this year, with a New Year's Day bowl game.

I think UF competes for the SEC East in 2013
