This Delaware high school QB (not David Sills) wants to be a Gator. What is your opinion?

He needs to grow some more. completiion% high, but a lot of short throws it seems. Arm doesn't look particularly strong either for the long ball. Don't think he will see a Florida scholly.

What class is he? I don't see much about him that really sticks out, but if he's only a FR/SO, he can develop more and possibly get an offer.

When did Delaware become a hotbed of talent?

It's not, but kids dream. Nothing really wrong with that.

This kid aside, there have been several high profile prospects from Delaware lately. Auburn signed a DT from there. There is the Sills kid and another top DL for 2013. I can't remember any northeastern state producing a string of high profile prospects, much less a state the size of Delaware.

Yeah. I'll be interested to see if they actually pan out. UF has recruited the NE heavily, but have only had about 50% of the guys actually pan out and be able to compete in the SEC.

Does the state of Fla not have a good qb coming up that Fla would have to go to Delaware to sign one????

Pennsylvania is more Mid-Western. New Jersey is Atlantic. Maybe I should have characterized it as "New England" and not "northeaster".

UF goes after the top QB's. No matter where they're from. If they like a QB OOS much better than an in-state one, they will pursue the OOS kid. If the talent is equal, they will usually always go with the in-state kid.

So neither PA nor Jersey are in New England. But Delware which is below both PA and NJ is in New England. Brilliant. Me thinks you do not know where Delware is located. Guess Maryland is in New England also.

Actually I thought Delaware was considered part of New England, but it seems Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont constitute the region. It had nothing to do with geographical location, but cultural identification.

It would seem so, but the point still stands that Delaware has an unusual strong of high profile prospects.

I believe he is a sophomore. He will need to grow about 3-4 inches at least. It was his lack of arm strength that caused me to post what I did. Obviously he can improve and grow the next couple of years.

Having been to Delaware countless times, it's no suprise more talent is starting to come from there. Lots of transplants from PA,MD and NJ where a ton of talent resides. Casinos and other gambling ventures along with good tax breaks(no sales tax) have made Delaware a nice landing spot for folks trying to get away from the big cities.

Sills, Bigelow (2013 kid, 5*), and Blackson (kid AU signed) all went to the same school too. Bigelow and Sills have transferred though to a school in Maryland, They followed their coach

That play at 1:18 is definitely NFL caliber.
