We're playing in Hattiesburg right now. We'll host them in Tuscaloosa next month. We always play a two game season series against them.

They are usually decent. Though, I don't know much about their team this year. Alabama has an incredibly young pitching staff. The mid-week starting pitchers are usually your least experienced. That's going to lead to some frustrating nights. I think we just have to expect an up and down year, until these guys get more experience.

Southern Miss is better than us. Also, we're going to lose every midweek game this year. We don't have enough pitching to be competitive on the weekends, much less these games when we aren't throwing weekend guys.

Wow. It didn't take long for UT fans to get cocky in baseball.
USM is a constant regional/super regional threat. They have a recent CWS appearance. Their facilities are great for are school that small.

Mitch Gaspard is a great coach. Along with Dax and Andy Phillips, they'll get this young team together by SEC play.
