Yeah it is... UT and UF were the 2 best teams in the SEC by far in the 90's. Sure Bama had a couple nice teams, but UT and UF were head and shoulders above everyone else.
Plus, the Fulmer-Spurrier rivalry was one of the best in CFB at the time.

i wondered about this yesterday why CBS would show it over some of the other better games. I would hate it not being on CBS but i understand why they would pick another game.

I'll take the game getting the primetime slot on ESPN. A night game in Neyland will make it even more difficult on Florida.

But really though. I hope we get a CBS game or two next year, so our SEC Brothers will become more familiar with us earlier. I think I remember hearing CBS has the first rights to SEC Games before ESPN or ABC can touch them, but I dont completely know how the scheduling works yet.
