Jordan Mastrogiavanni, Dallas Jusuit MLB visited on Tuesday and had a very good visit. Came with his uncle and is going to discuss things with his parents....wouldn't be suprised if he is our next commitment.

Jordan Mastrogiavanni

We offered Deondrei Davis as well. I imagine Gustafson will help with Mastrogiavanni

So Jesuit has all this talent this year? All white boys?

Gustafson, yes. But maybe Sumlin is trying to get back in with Oliver.

Way too early to reach on kids just to get back in on Oliver. We have plenty of w/r's and will get some good ones this year without Oliver....hope Summy is not offering one kid hoping to get another one that is committed somehwhere else. Especially at a position like MLB where we need a major talent upgrade.

The Jesuit MLB seems like a bit of a reach IMO

Rivals is showing the below offers for Mastro:

Baylor
Iowa State
Minnesota
Mississippi
Purdue
San Diego State
SMU
Texas A&M
Virginia
Washington

Not an elite offer list but not bad either. There are not very many true MLB in the state of Texas this year and Mastro will play in the middle in the college...already 6'3'' and 225 lbs.

He would fill a huge need. It looks like we are doing a great job so far recruiting DL but we really need to get some better linebacker talent on this team specifically some guys who can play inside and stop the run.

I agree, and the MLB talent this year is really thin. We should be able to load up on outside guys though. Akeem Harrison is someone I really hope we land.

Coach Beaty is on fire! We can now get into Dallas. We need to dominate East Texas and a couple of cajuns wouldn't hurt. Coach Polian also has connections in the west coast.

MLB talent isn't too thin, at least in regards to having the Ags on top. Both Chad Whitener and R Chevis would commit on the spot if offered. I like Chevis the most, then Whitener, then Mastro. Not sure with the Mastro offer and not Chevis

Davis and Warrick both committed to Texas..

Scratch them off the list and move to the next set of targets..

Lacouture decommitted because he wants to take visits. He thought it would be respectful to decommit b/c of that.

Still has a strong interest in A&M. Probably take a visit to LSU and 1 or 2 other schools.

Probably depends on how much the staff wants him tbh. If they keep at him hard he might end up back here but if they shift there attention elsewhere then I could see him disconnecting completely and going elsewhere.

True, I hope they keep after him though. We need D Line and he looks like a good one, at least good enough to take

We have a kid in Gibson who did just that.

However, whether or not Sumlin wants him remains to be seen.
