I really had high hopes for him, but he will always be more Romo than Breeze.

Solid player with good stats, has all the physical tools etc.

Uga will never win with him because he does not manage the game well and lacks the clucth gene.

I thought he and Barkley were a cut above the rest of the Qbs in the 09 class, but I'd take McCarron easily after Barkley.

It will be interesting to see what Mett can do at LSU.

I thought he had that potential. Shorter guy with good mobility and he seemed like a winner coming from Plant.

If Tyler Bray had been in the NFL he would have won league MVP. True story.

Hate to say it but I tend to a agree. I love Murray as a hard-working, conscientious student of the game but some intangible related to quick mental progression through his options under pressure seems to be missing. I think he could be an excellent QB with an outstanding OL but under pressure when playing against tough competition Murray seems to falter. As you aptly pointed out, Murray has had solid stats but he hasn't won a single game vs quality opponent yet in his career. His best game was probably vs Auburn in a down year this past season.

This.

Give the guy a running game, and he could be pretty decent. He just gets too flustered in clutch situations.

It's too bad Stafford didn't have Murray's work ethic while in school.

Makes you wonder how much Mett has progressed at Juco and working behind master single callers like JJ and JL, considering Murray beat him out long ago at UGA.

Ehh, Mett wasn't really there long enough to really know for sure. Maybe he would've started by mid season? I doubt it, though.

I don't think Mett would've ever started over Murray. Not because Mett isn't good but because CMR is a loyalist and he would never bench his golden boy.

If Georgia can get a running game going and Blowbo does not frick everything he up he can win.
Murray vowed he would bear Florida in 2011 after what happened and well Georgia won.
He's determined as hell said he won't leave Georgia until they go 14-0
