Will probably finish 6-10, 7-9 if they steal one. Better than the past two years but that doesnt say much

Something needs to change. We've given it plenty of time.

Wichita is a very good win. Arkansas and Ole Miss having decent RPIs are both good wins.

We beat Wichita and Ole Miss in the top 50 RPI and all of our losses except SC are going to the tournament. Don't flatter LSU and say they are one of our best wins.

Do Bracketologists have Bama getting in with two more losses? They have Bama in right now, if the season were to end today.

Show me on HERE where Ole Miss is projected to make it in to the tournament.

Arkansas and Ole Miss both have a decent shot of making the tournament. LSU does not.

Here's a link with Lunardi saying ideally Alabama would like to finish 9-7 or 10-6 which is obviously a no brainer for us making the tourney. He then states 7-9 may be a problem. I then formulated my own opinion by thinking 8-8 will be good enough. LINK

They are in the first four out and next 4 our respectively. Does that not give them a decent shot of making the tourney? Yes, they are on the wrong side of the bubble now, but a good win or two, especially Arkansas on the road, will really bolster their resume.

meh slightly. Ole Miss's record is 1 game better than LSU's. Guess what they havent played UK. LSU beat Ole Miss by 30. Ole Miss also lost to Marquette by 30. LSU isnt sniffing the tournament but lets be real, Ole Miss has no right sniffing it either.

Arkansas is also a pretty bad team who really wont have much of a chance to make the tournament.

Arkansas and Ole Miss having top 50 RPIs is what is keeping them in the discussion. If Arkansas can get a road win or two, they'll be a serious contender...more so than Ole Miss definitely.

Said all of our L's were headed to the tourney....not Ole Miss. Before our game I did see them in some brackets as a 12, though. I don't expect to see them on selection Sunday but if they do it is a hell of a coaching job by Kennedy

If Bama loses 2 more they are done IMHO ... their best two wins are against Purdue and either Georgia Tech or LSU ... They have some bad losses from the likes of Dayton and South Carolina. They will have to get extremely hot in the 2nd half of conference play.

So Bama doesn't get in with a 10-6 conference record and a 21-9 overall record and what would be a mid 20s RPI. You do realize their RPI is 31 right now don't you? Alabama is a lock for getting in if they get to 9-7 in the conference. FAR FAR FAR different circumstances this year vs last year. Granted, we were playing much better ball at this point last year but the toughest part of our schedule is mostly behind us and if we lose no more than 3 more conference games we're a lock. Heck, we're already projected as an 8 seed. You forgot a nice win over Wichita State and Dayton is far from a bad loss considering that was a road loss to a Top 50 RPI team.

As for Ole Miss, they are a helluva lot better team that some of you are giving them credit for. Again, they're a Top 50 RPI team and our the next best NCAA possibility (along with Arkansas) to get the 6th and final automatic NCAA bid from the SEC.

6 auto bids from one conference?
