So first let me say what a great game that was. Both teams showed great moxy and ability to make plays. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I thought Vandy showed toughness they don't usually show but Miss St. was a bit tougher.

All that being said I just noticed that Miss St lost to Ole Miss. I'm curious as to how. The State team I watched on Saturday wouldn't have lost to anyone in the conference except maybe KY in Rump Arena. So what happened in that game against Ole Miss?

you never know what you are going to get with this team. We have enough talent to hang with anyone, but sometimes we just don't ever get off of the bus.

Couldn't make a shot against Ole Miss. Everything bounced their way too. We were still within 3 points inside two minutes because of their free throw shooting. Ole Miss is playing decent. It's just SEC basketball. We will lose one to Auburn, SC, or LSU I bet.

Rump Arena.

not sure if intentional but i

We just didn't play well against OM and they aren't a terrible team. They shot lights out and we couldn't hit a basket or run offense to save our life. Just one of those games that happens in basketball.

Teams have "their greatest game of the year" (Arkansas) and Buckner has a "career night" against us because of poor preparation.

We'll beat LSU in the Tad Pad too with Murphy back and us playing more as a team. We had just lost Nelson for the year and our top rebounder was out with injury.

Our leader Dee Bost was ice cold. When he cant get it going it seems like the the rest of the team has trouble going to.

Mississippi State goes as D. Bost goes. If he plays well, State plays well.

Yeah you just don't know if Bost is gonna be on or not. But every once in a while Sidney makes a contribution. Whenever he contributes we are a lot better. He did that saturday but not against ole miss. He still didn't have a great game but he contributed. If he keeps improving, watch out. Probably won't get any better though.

That boy can be the best in the conference if he was consistent. He can flat out play. I honestly was rooting for Vandy but I say no shame in losing to that Miss St team that night.

And "Rump Arena" was no accident
