Why did Kentucky get a pass again on the Thursday-Sat turnaround ?

I figured after last year it would get fixed. I understand UK drives the SEC's bus in basketball but this is all but the league telling the other 11 teams that they really don't matter.
Alabama now has to turn right around and go to Lexington for an 11:00 tipoff ?? I know they're not going on a Greyhound bus,but come on.And while Vandy gets to play at home they have to play Miss State.
With all of the painstaking detail the league puts on football you would think they could put just a little more effor into basketball.

I have no idea and I never even paid attention to such things. I didn't know anyone did. Bama and LSU get little breaks on the football field all the time so I don't know what to tell you.

Regarding this week - I think UK could play Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and then play Alabama Saturday morning and still clean their clocks - tomorrow will be ugly.

Yes they do. Nothing game changing but the SEC has reason to give these teams something here and there.
You just don't notice it because you're an LSU fan. Just as I never would have noticed the subject of this thread.
Or its all in our imaginations which is equally possible.

Yeah, they get out of not having to play Georgia...or something like that.

This is the 2nd or 3rd year in a row Bama has had a Thursday night-early Saturday turnaround.
I haven't really paid attention to other teams' schedules though to see if any others have a similar scenario.

Thursday to Saturday from this week on out...
Alabama/Vandy
Ole Miss/Florida
Florida/USCe
State/Ole Miss
Ole Miss
Arkansas/Alabama
UGA
So the Rebel Black Bears should be the ones complaining.

I know it has to Happen just about every week due to the TV contract, but how many of those Saturday games are early tipoffs like this weekend for Bama?
If I remember right, set year we played at LSU on a Thursday(8 PM tip) and maybe at home against Arkansas with a 5 PM tip? That may not be right.
I'm not really bitching, just curious.

I would say that ESPN and CBS influence the schedule.

Because UK gets every Super Tuesday game.
