I'm sorry, but two teams with 6 losses apiece (Nevada, Texas A&M) are not top 10 material.

It's not better or worse than any other ranking system but rather is meant to give some insights on the overall strenghth of teams assuming the turnovers average out, key players stay healthy, kickers don't shank short field goals and most importantly red zone offense and defense.
That is why it is so idiotic......and your thread title is misleading this is not even a computer poll that is included in the BCS system.....so it is definitely not indicative of the "final 2011 cfb computer ranking
