I accidently posted this on the SEC rant and I was cast out like a leper, rightly so. Anyways I had read some LSU fans with "inside" info say basically that Devall's recruitment basically wasn't over. That he and LC would be visiting LSU next weekend. At least half of this is false. Mike Coppage of scout.com said on twitter "Denzel Devall says the rumors that he'll visit LSU next weekend are false. "Not true at all," he said prior to his Alabama visit." So he shouldn't be going next weekend. Maybe he will the next? But part of the optimism with LC came from his supposed visit next week with Devall. Just found that tweet interesting, take what you want from it.

I might be a little nervous about one of them.

I think Landon is playing some sort of game aimed at getting Louisiana people off his back. Hints or even open declaration of still considering options makes the neighbors and social network stalkers play nice again.

Devall is as solid as they come.

Not worried at all. Chillin.

It's not like they've got a parade or celebration or anything else to do with their time.

Nothing to worry about with Devall or Collins. Devall is in T-town noe and is as solid as they come. According to HIM he is not considering LSU & he spoke to Collins who said he is all Bama. After Miles & Wilson left, Burton Burns was in home with Collins. Those two are among the two I worry about the least.

To be honest, there really arent any I am "worried" about. I'm sure that will sound homerish, but it's the truth. I'm worried about kids like Goldman or Winston that we want but are 50/50 at best to get.

Devall is solid & Collins is too. It's very tough to be a highly rated player LSU wants, but still leave state. Those two view it as not having to face pressure alone and both are strong enough to do it.

You can have Devall, he is Luther Davis part 2. Collins hurts, but wish him the best of luck. He will probably end up a nickel for you guys. It seems like Saban likes bigger safties.

I think Saban likes stouter Safeties rather than taller ones.

I would expect a really tall, lanky Safety would be more susceptible to being driven by a RB and not have all his power centered when laying a lick...

I don't really know about Collins' recruitment but I would be at least a little worried after his mom's reaction to his announcement.

I don't think either one is going anywhere. Especially Devall. He's made it pretty clear he wasn't going to LSU and I just can't see why Collins would possibly want to come to LSU after the way he and his girlfriend were treated following his announcement.

Yes he does live with his father and stepmother.Stepmother hugged him but dad was missing in action because he was pissed. Obviously mother was pissed as well. He's sticking with Bama whether they like it or not.

Devall also sticks with Bama imo. The only small bit of hope there for LSU people that actually want him or think we need him is the fact that his father prefers he be at LSU. Not going to matter and his father supports his decision. He fits better in Bama's defense at his preferred position of LB.

Just a lot of much ado about nothing. They are Bama commits and I don't see that changing and don't think it should just because of pressure from the parents. Momma and Daddy aren't going to be at college with them. Let them stick with the school they want to be at.
