Since Ole Miss' undefeated season in 1962 am I correct in saying that only Bama, Auburn, and UGA are the only SEC teams to go undefeated and untied?

Don't judge me if I always claim 2011 as an undefeated season for LSU.

I don't know the answer to you inquiry, I just had to confess.

It's weird that Florida has never had one despite being so dominant under Spurrier and Meyer.

Alabama and Auburn have combined for 17 undefeated and untied seasons.

And LSU has no undefeated seasons in the last 50 seasons. It just shows you how difficult it is to go undefeated in a BCS conference. Makes it all the more remarkable that Auburn has three undefeated seasons in the last 20 years. Hate Auburn but you have to give them big props for that achievement.

If you go back just 4 years prior, LSU had one in 1958 (as well as 1908.)

Auburn had a perfect season in '57 as well as an undefeated season in '58.
