I saw one dude with a serious post the whole time during bowl season. He just broke the game down in detail which was nice but the rest of it was nothing but trolls and shitty flames.

Yeah it seems like it would get old after awhile. Even their threads just about KSU stuff are over the top. Very odd place.

I would be pissed if I was a KSU fan looking for a decent board. Nothing on that board gets taken seriously, even by it's own posters.

It is awful. I only checked periodically to see if anyone was breaking things down....had that one dude who broke us down but that was it.

What you got is a shithole college in a shite hole town and they turn out accountants and vets. it makes for some creepy, boring fare. I worked with some of those grads and thinking back on that time, my skin crawls.

I checked it out during the whole conference expansion thing. I'm not sure why because they were never really being considered.

The Little Apple is a shithole for sure. Surprisingly, their fanbase is one of the few I've never had run-ins with... they're a leave it to Beaver type of douchebaggery.

Out of my 8 PCS moves, only two have been in what you call "shitty military towns". Just using Army bases:
Fort Carson - Colorado Springs is AWESOME
Fort Lewis - Seattle is great...the people, not so much
Fort Bragg - Fayetteville is a dump. However, Raleigh is nice
Fort Drum - No thanks, I want nothing to do with upstate NY when the only nearby city is Syracuse
Fort Stewart - Savannah is ok, but not great
Fort Gordon - Augusta sucks. Fortunately, Columbia is just an hour away.
Fort Benning - Dump. Nearest real city is Auburn, AL
Fort Rucker - Never been there, but it's BFE Alabama
Fort Riley - Manhattan is actually not that bad. No nearby big cities
Fort Leavenworth - Kansas City is odd
Fort Campbell - Covington isn't great, but Nashville is very close
Fort Irwin - DO NOT WANT
Fort Polk - REALLY DO NOT WANT
Fort Bliss - El Paso, NM is crap
Fort Hood - Probably the worst place to put a base in Texas
Fort Sam Houston - San Antonio
Fort Sill - Middle of nowhere in Mobilehoma.
