1)They come into NOLA favored to win
2)We already beat them
3)We will win and embarrass them
4)They'll make excuses. "You didn't beat us, Napoleon did"
5)Most of you won't get this, google it

Shockingly, this thought is actually Germans. I believe someone posted that Finebaum actually made this comparison, without realizing that it didn't make sense coming from a Bama fan.

Their team is named after the female menstrual cycle. I always found that funny.

The War of 1812 was kind of a stale mate. And we got our asses handed to us in most of the battles.

Battle of New Orleans was a slaughter of British soldiers though.
And, contrary to popular belief, that battle actually did matter.

The war had already been ended by the Treaty of Ghent a couple weeks earlier, so from a military perspective it didn't matter

It did, however, turn A. Jackson into a national hero and eventually got him elected president.

The British were not embarrassed in the War of 1812. They burned our capitol to the ground and by many accounts had a great amount of success against our forces.

They got embarrassed in the Battle of New Orleans after the war ended.

And allowed the US to claim victory in the war despite it not going well for the most part.
