we wouldnt hear any talk about "they could split the title" or "they should have been in title game over Bama". Right?

Realistically, they shouldn't have lost to Iowa State.

I know your pain. Since I'm a South Carolina fan I know nothing about football.

How about this, you want to play in the BCSCG, don't lose to Iowa State at the end of the season.

Well, duh. I thought this was common knowledge.

Stanford should demand a rematch. They out gained Ok St and lost by a FG in OT. The world needs and demands to see this game played again.

Or.....if you want to play in the BCSNCG game dont already lose to the team you will be playing, win your conference or even your division

Be #1 or #2 going into bowl season. If you aren't, then you probably lost a game along the way, weren't high enough preseason, or you play in shitty conference.

+1. If the gumps were 12-1 and won the SEC but their one loss was to a 7-5 Ole Miss, they would be outraged that an 11-1 SC would get a rematch with a 13-0 UCLA in a national championship and they were left out. The gumps are no different than SC but SC has more cache than the gumps.

Yep, Big 12 was such a shitty conference this year

We were a top 10 team preseason as well

More sound logic

Any hypothetical that has UCLA going 13-0 is a tad ridiculous.

I've never killed fans from another school or poisoned the trees on another schools campus like you or one of your gump relatives have.

I was referencing more of someone like Houston or Boise if they had went undefeated in a shitty conference. OSU falls under the category of "lost a game along the way".

Bama lost too, but we are in a better conference, lost to a better team, and were ranked high preseason.
