Someone mentioned on the radio today that ESPN showed Alabama with only 8 NCs. Why does Alabama claim 13?

8 poll titles, one awful claim in 1941, and four Rose Bowl teams (before 1936) that were named by one service, or another, as champions. Most people don't like to acknowledge anything before 1936.

Facts are facts. We have 8 since the Bowl Era, but anyone claiming we have more or less than 13 is ignorant. LSU has 3.

Either way, we probably won't beat LSU. Just win. Similar to how LSU didn't beat us, they just won. We beat ourselves on November 5th, LSU may beat themselves on January 9th.
